Lindel industrial Laboratories Ltd (LILL) fully owned subsidiary of Lanka Industrial Estates Ltd (Lindel) opened its newest Laboratory premises in order to further expand its laboratory services to industries with diverse requirements including potable water, effluents, emissions, solid waste, fuel oils, fertilizers, soils, and metal alloys, Microbiological and Food Testing facilities. The opening of the new building was accompanied by signing an agreement with ADRA for a community water quality testing program.

LILL was set up in 1997 to monitor the drinking water quality and the quality of effluents discharged by the factories within LINDEL. By today, LILL has expanded testing facilities to other industries as well. In 2005, LILL was accredited by Accreditation Scheme for Testing Laboratories (ASTEL) for water and fuel testing in 2002. Also, LILL is one of the first industrial labs to obtain ISO 17025:2005 standards in 2006 from Sri Lanka Accreditation Board ( SLAB)  and currently it is accredited under ISO 17025:2017 . Also LILL is registered under Central Environmental Authority for Environmental monitoring & Analysis .

LILL join with ADRA by supporting them with testing the water quality of the 250 plus tube wells constructed/renovated by ADRA for the people living in difficult areas of Buththala, wellawaya and Monaragala.

Ceremony was held on 4^th January 2022 followed by tree planting program to mark the project
