An independent perennial water supply source from Kelani River to the Industrial Estate. Storage tanks of 20,000 cu. meters supply a sufficient volume of water to meet the needs of the Industrial Estate. Additional supplies to outsiders are available through Bowser Filling Points. Water from the Kelani River is treated and quality tested at facilities located within the Industrial Estate to conform with Sri Lanka Standard No. 614 of 2013 for potable water. The plant is capable of supplying up to 9,000 cubic meters of treated water per day.
